Our Impartiality Policy

Ensuring fairness and integrity in every certification decision

Reliable Certification (SMC-Private) Limited is committed to ensure impartial, independent, objectivity and unbiased management system certification process and this policy is applied to its certification activities, personnel’s (employees, auditors and technical experts), all committees, and shall ensure to comply with the requirements of Accreditation Body guidelines and fulfillment of applicable legal/statutory requirements.

The top management of organization shall make its certification and operation processes, audit and certification decision activities free from any commercial, financial, personnel or other pressures that could compromise impartiality. The Marketing and business development activities never give any guarantee of success in certification process.

All personnels (both RC employees and EXTERNAL PERSONNEL) involved in certification and audit activities and committee members shall declare any potential conflict of interest if found during any certification activity process. The person who conducted the audit shall not involve in the certification decision, complaint and appeal process.

Reliable Certification (SMC-Private) Limited does not provide consultancy, internal audit services, system implementation or any services that may compromise certification decisions and its staff, auditor shall not offer or recommend consultancy to the clients. The Certification service shall not be initiate where any auditor, employee, or other related individual has provided consultancy service to the client or employee within two years.

The Management of Reliable Certification (SMC-Private) Limited understands the importance of impartial approach in conducting audits and established an independent Impartiality Committee with balanced representation from experience professional, experts and independent member to identify any potential conflicts of interest, risk assessment, evaluate, and take appropriate action to prevent impartiality risk and potential conflict of interest.

The Organization shall publicly disclose information about the status of issued, suspended, or withdrawn certificates and provide clear communication about the safeguard of impartiality within the organization.

Reliable Certification (SMC-Private) Limited shall not certify another certification body for any management system and the RC shall not outsource its audit activities to any certification body and consultancy organization.

Top Management of RC and impartiality committee can suspend, withdraws, or reduces certification scope if any conflict of issue and impartiality breach is found.

Reliable Certification (SMC-Private) Limited shall provide training to all staff, auditors (RC and External Personnel), technical experts on impartiality and potential conflict of interest. All RC employees, auditors (RC and External Personnel), technical experts, contractors, and all committee members shall sign impartiality and conflict of interest declaration.
